With stainless steel overbraid, this probe is perfect for monitoring ambient air temperatures in high temp environments (e.g. fireboxes, grills and smokers). It is not designed for direct food measurements. Attach the probe to an oven rack or grill grate exactly where you need it. The probe cable is small enough in diameter to close in an indoor oven door, so it's ideal for kitchen and general purpose use.

Sensor Range: -58 to 752°F (-50 to 400°C)

Cable: -58 to 662°F (-50 to 350°C)

Time Constant: Less than 2 seconds typical in liquid. Less than 10 seconds full reading.

Accuracy: ±0.9°F (±0.5°C) from 32 to 212°F (0 to 100°C)
